3. Nature of the Content

3.1 The Content is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not legal advice or a legal opinion on any matter, and it is no substitute for consulting a lawyer about your specific situation.

3.2 The Firm does not warrant that the Content is accurate, complete or up to date; laws and procedures may change after publication. The Firm may amend or remove any Content at any time without notice.

3.3 Any decision or action you take in reliance on the Content is at your sole responsibility.

4. No Lawyer–Client Relationship Arises from Use of the Website

4.1 Browsing the Website, completing its forms, booking an appointment through it, contacting the Firm, or sending documents to it does not create any contractual or lawyer–client relationship, and does not oblige the Firm to accept or respond to your request.

4.2 The Firm accepts an engagement only after completing a conflict-of-interest check, verifying the client’s identity and capacity, the client’s signature of the Quotation, the client’s signature of the Fee Agreement for litigation services, and receipt of the payment due in the Firm’s account, without prejudice to the client’s obligations arising from signing the Quotation. Legal services are governed by the Fee Agreement, if any, then by the Quotation, then by the “Terms & Conditions for Quotations, Engagement and Fees” referred to in the Quotation.

4.3 A power of attorney or authorisation issued to the Firm or to any of its lawyers does not in itself constitute an engagement of the Firm for any work not agreed in writing.

4.4 The Firm may decline any request or engagement without giving reasons.

5. What You Send Before Engagement

5.1 Limit your initial request to your contact details, a brief description of the matter and the names of the parties, and do not send confidential information or documents before the conditions for accepting the engagement under clause 4.2 are met, except what the Firm asks you for in order to review your request.

5.2 Sending information does not by itself create an engagement or a lawyer–client relationship. The Firm handles what it receives in accordance with the law, its duties of confidentiality and its conflict-of-interest checks, and the sender should limit what they send to the information needed to review their initial request.

5.3 Sending a request or message to the Firm does not suspend any statutory period or deadline, such as deadlines for objections, grievances, limitation periods or hearings. The Firm bears no liability for any deadline missed before the conditions for accepting the engagement under clause 4.2 are met.

6. Lawful Use

6.1 You must use the Website for lawful purposes only, provide accurate information, and not impersonate another person or submit a request on someone else’s behalf without authorisation.

6.2 You must not: attempt unauthorised access to the Website or its systems; disrupt or interfere with its operation; spread malicious software; collect its data by automated means; send offensive or unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others; or use the Website for advertising or promotion without the Firm’s permission.

6.3 The Firm may suspend your access to the Website or to any of its electronic services, or delete any content you submit through it, at any time and without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 The Content, the “Darb Legal” name and logos, and the Website’s designs are owned by or licensed to the Firm and are protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 You may view and print the Content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, modify or commercially exploit it, or use the Firm’s name or logo in any way, without the Firm’s written permission.

11.1 The Firm communicates with its clients from its official email (@darblegal.com) and its approved electronic system. Any communication attributed to the Firm through any other channel shall not be relied upon.

11.2 No payment is valid unless made to the Firm’s bank accounts in its name that are listed in the Quotation or invoice issued from its system, or notified to the client through one of its official channels set out in clause 11.1. No payment instructions or change of accounts received through any other channel shall be relied upon, and the Firm bears no liability for any payment made to accounts other than its own.
